Deadline Thurs 23rd March 2017
For this brief I will be collaborating with two graphic designers and another illustrator. So far we have organised to meet next thurs to formulate a plan and share initial ideas.
Here are some examples of packaging design, for chocolate products, that I think are really effective and are good inspiration for this brief.
"Loving Earth" by Round
An emphasise for this brand is their different and inventive ingredients which appeal to a more adult audience. Therefore I think the packaging reflecting these more sophisticated flavour combinations - using specific symbols or colour palettes - could be really effective.
Mast Brother chocolate
I think something patterned based could look really sophisticated while also being fun and playful, appealing to the target audience of young professionals. This kind of packaging would also really suit mine and the other illustrators methods of working - both of us enjoying making simple shape-based imagery and using handmade processes in our work.
