I wanted to recreate the image of bird footprints I used for the cover of my mock-up hotdog book 'The Raven Lady'. I think potato printing has worked really well to provide the uniformity of shape, but varied weight/tone of print to give the idea of a bird hopping across the paper. I would really like to use this perhaps as a cover across the whole book or on the inside pages, as I think it has simple charm and will work well with the overall tone of the narrative.
