I am kinda happy with this final image. I think the mask looks really nicely crafted - I like how I have used real feathers. I think the background also looks nice, and fits well with the 3D aspect of the illustration - at first I was going to draw the clouds in chalk, but I think the crumpled paper works much better. But at the same time I really really hate it. I wanted to create something much better than this, more playful, fun and inventive. I am annoyed with myself that I wasted this opportunity to experiment with an aspect of illustration I am really interested in because I did not work hard enough. Its not like I did not plan this or leave enough time to complete it, I think I was just not so willing to take risks this week and I don't really know why...
